- Go! Magazine
Eastern Oregon residents like to celebrate with community festivals.
And have rodeos.
And listen to live music.
This is why we’ve launched a bigger and better Go! Magazine — and you’re holding the first issue in your hands.
Readers of the Baker City Herald and The Observer are familiar with Go! — it’s been part of both newspapers for more than a decade.
To our new readers: welcome!
Each week, we aim to provide you with stories about upcoming festivals, car shows, concerts, book signings, art shows and more — anything that you can “go and do” in Eastern Oregon.
We’ll also provide stories about movies, and book reviews (because we know sometimes you’d rather stay home).
We have writers in each county we reach: Baker, Union, Grant, Wallowa, Umatilla and Morrow.
Our goal is to let you know what’s happening in your area, as well as give you ideas for road trips to neighboring towns or counties.
Our side of the state has some pretty cool festivals, and museums worth a visit.
If you have an event you’d like to see in these pages, please send me an email or give me a call (my contact information can be found in the rail at left). The sooner you can submit an event, the better — two weeks in advance gives us time to plan or call for more information.
Going forward, you can find Go! on Wednesdays in the Blue Mountain Eagle and Wallowa County Chieftain, and on Thursdays in the Baker City Herald, The Observer and the East Oregonian.
It can also be found at various locations in each community.
That’s enough of the details — turn the page to find out what’s happening across Eastern Oregon.
