Introduction to Celtic Knotwork

Ginger Rembold will introduce students to the style of Celtic knotwork designs in a class on Thursday, Sept. 16, from 6-8 p.m. The process is fairly simple and can be used to make personalized cards and posters or as a meditative practice. Cost is $16 for Crossroads members, $24 nonmembers.

Ballet

Debbie Friedman will teach three different levels of ballet classes this fall. Classes run from 4-5 p.m. Cost is $64 members, $96 nonmembers.

Ballet I, for ages 6-8: Tuesdays, Sept. 21-Nov. 9

Ballet II, for ages 6-8 with previous experience: Wednesdays, Sept. 22-Nov. 10

Ballet II, for all dancers age 9 and older: Thursdays, Sept. 23-Nov. 11

Kaleidoscope Your Name

Rembold will lead this class on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 6-8 p.m. Participants will learn an easy process to turn a name (or favorite phrase) into wall art. Bring a regular and fine-tip black Sharpie, and a coloring medium such as felt pens, crayons or colored pencils. Cost is $16 for Crossroads members, $24 nonmembers.

All ages are welcome, although children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

No-Sew Banners and Wall Hangings

Rembold will lead this class on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 6-8 p.m. She’ll show how to turn fabric scraps into colorful wall hangings with iron-on adhesive. All bonding materials will be provided, plus plenty of fabric (although participants are encouraged to bring their own as well). Cost is $16 members, $24 nonmembers. There is also a $5 supply fee.

The class is for all ages, although children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
