PENDLETON — Music and more celebrate the return of a fall fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 1, that supports the Pendleton Farmers Market.
The market begins at 4 p.m. on the 400 block of Main St. The fall festival kicks off at 6 p.m. in the same location with a silent auction, no-host beer garden and specialty cocktails by Great Pacific.
James Dean Kindle and the Eastern Oregon Playboys will provide live music from 7-9 p.m.
“It’s our one major fundraiser of the year,” said Hal McCune, market president.
It was canceled in 2020.
“It was the first time we didn’t have a fundraiser,” McCune said.
The Pendleton Farmers Market will celebrate 20 years in 2022. Proceeds from the fall fundraiser help pay for an employee, as well as publicity and general upkeep at the market.
The market will continue on Fridays until Oct. 15. For updates, check the market’s Facebook page or go to www.pendletonfarmersmarket.net.
