UNION COUNTY — Carving jack-o’-lanterns and decorating with festive gourds are part of the joy of Halloween for many of us. If you don’t have your own pumpkin patch, get outside and search for the perfect pumpkin treasures growing in the Grande Ronde Valley. You’ll support local farmers, and it’s a lot more fun.

Pick’n Patch has a corn maze and more than 20 varieties of pumpkins and gourds to choose from.

In their words: “Our family has been growing pumpkins in the Grande Ronde Valley for more than 16 years. In 2014 we opened our patch to the public so people could come to the field and pick their pumpkins and spend some quality time with family and friends.”
