LA GRANDE — Cook Memorial Library, 2006 Fourth St., continues regular monthly activities, along with a few new events during February. Here’s a look at what’s happening at the library.

Yoga

Kitia Chambers will lead Community Yoga on Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. in the Community Room. This free class is open to all ages and registration is not required.

Storytime

Storytime will be held on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Story Circle. Each gathering includes stories and a craft.

Gaming

The library is hosting a Dungeons & Dragons and gaming group on two Thursdays, Feb. 9 and 23, at 3:30 p.m. in the studio. This free activity is open to all ages. For information, contact Ryan at the library at 541-962-1339.

For adults

The Mystery Book Club for adults will meet on Friday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. in the studio. Participants will discuss “Bleeding Heart Yard” by Elly Griffiths. The group meets monthly on the second Friday and new attendees are welcome.

Cinema Saturday will be held on Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room. Visit the library’s web page for movie details — go to cookmemoriallibrary.org and click on the “Adults” tab.

Self Care Saturday for adults is Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Studio. Participants will create simple wire-wrapped pendants. Supplies are provided and registration is not required.

Teen Writing Circle

Teen Writing Circle will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 4-5 p.m. in the studio. Participants will create characters, build worlds and share ideas. This free activity is open to ages 12 to 18. Supplies are provided and registration is not needed.
