PENDLETON — The Pendleton Run brings bikes, music and vendors back to Pendleton this weekend.

Formerly Pendleton Bike Week, The Pendleton Run is a multi-day celebration featuring multiple motorcycle rides and live entertainment.

“It’s going to be bigger and better than last year,” promoter Bob Richards said. “Everything just gets better and more fine-tuned.”

One change this year involves the location of event festivities. While the bike races will continue to be in the Pendleton Round-Up Stadium, the bike show, music and vendors will move next door to Roy Raley Park.

“The park is just such a pretty setting, and it’s more conducive to the vendors,” Richards said.

“The Round-Up is a great facility, but it did get hot last year.”

The Pendleton Run opens with early registration and kickoff party on Thursday night, July 20, featuring live music. Events then take place all day Friday and Saturday, July 21-22, from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

The vendor marketplace opens at 10 a.m. each day. Scheduled performers include Rail and Blue Tattoo, Wasteland Kings, Wicked Mary, Fastlane (Eagles Tribute Band), Stoney Lonesome and Jagged Edge, as well as Summer Chute Out IV Pro/Am Flat Track Racing on Saturday night.

In addition to activities at the Round-Up Stadium and Roy Raley Park, the Pendleton Run features three scheduled rides — Rattlesnake 400, eXplore the Blues Adventure Ride and the Til Taylor Charity Poker Run.

A full schedule of times is available at www.pendletonbikeweek.com/entertainment.

People can visit the park activities for free. Other activities and scheduled rides do have ticket costs, such as the Summer Chute Out IV amateur and pro racing, where tickets start at $20.

The Pendleton Run Pass is $75 at the gate and includes three nights of camping, choice of either the Poker Run or Rattle Snake 400 ride, a ticket to the Summer Chute Out Flat Track Race and two beverage tickets, as well as other items.

The Pendleton Run is July 20-22 in Pendleton. Find more information and the full schedule at www.pendletonbikeweek.com.
