About Cheyenne

West grew up in Sunriver.

“I started loving country music when I was two years old,” she said.

But she was shy.

Until she wasn’t.

“At 11 years old, I stepped on stage for the first time,” she said.

By 12 she was writing songs, and by 13 her music was on the radio.

When she was 14, West was invited to sing in New York City’s Times Square for the Republican National Convention.

“That was insane,” she said.

After graduating from high school, she headed to Nashville.

“It was quite the experience,” she said. “It was nerve-racking — I was working among the best musicians.”

She had the opportunity to record covers of 12 songs, and a few years later she was performing on her own.

“At 21 I started performing in bars and wherever I could,” she said.

West now lives in Prineville, and plays about three times a week. She has 100 shows booked for 2024.

“I’ve been playing everywhere I can,” she said. “I love making music.”

This is the third time she’s played in Spray, although the previous concerts were held outside.

“When there’s music, everyone comes,” she said of the town.

This indoor concert will be a bit different — the smaller space will allow West a chance to share stories about the songs she’ll sing. She’ll be joined on stage by Daniel Linn.

“Spray is going to be so fun,” she said. “It’s going to be up close and personal. You get to meet me.”

Her music can be found on Spotify, Facebook, Pandora and Amazon.
