Community Fazioli Piano Day invites members of the community to sign up and showcase their musical talent on the $150,000 Fazioli piano on stage at McKenzie Theatre.
The registration deadline is Friday, April 12. Find the link to register at eou.edu/news.
Donations will be accepted from both performers and audience members. All funds raised will go to the EOU Music scholarship funds, which are held in the EOU Foundation.

There will be several concert groups for the April 20 performances:
- Elementary and middle school, 10 a.m.

- College and adult, 1 p.m.
Performances are free for all to enjoy, and donations will be welcome.
According to EOU, “this event is a special outreach project aimed at providing a rare opportunity for individuals to perform on a world-class instrument. By participating, individuals not only enrich the local musical community but also support the EOU Music Scholarship Funds in the EOU Foundation.”
Background
In December 2018, the EOU Foundation premiered the brand-new concert grand piano, the black Fazioli, at the Holiday Music Festival. Donors raised $150,000 in 12 months to purchase, tune and care for this high-quality instrument.
