- Sage Christie kicked off the concert series at Wallowa Lake Lodge in June, and returns Aug. 12.
JOSEPH — Summer music at Wallowa Lake Lodge is off to a stellar start.
Wallowa Lake Lodge’s summer music season began June 3 with an appearance by Ashville, North Carolina, singer-songwriter Sage Christie. Late spring weather allowed the audience to relax in the lodge and enjoy a close-up experience with Sage, their skillfully crafted songs and gorgeous vocals. If you missed it, Sage returns to the lodge Aug. 12.
In the meantime, music continues every week.
The music remains the same
There are many changes at Wallowa Lake Lodge this year, but the music will continue as it has for many seasons. Musical acts take the stage on the deck behind the lodge from 6-8 p.m., most Fridays and Saturdays (note: September’s schedule is 5–7 p.m.) Bring a lawn chair. Food and drinks are available for purchase in the lodge; drinks are available at the kiosk on the lawn.
Dancing is encouraged; fun is anticipated.
