WESTON — Find your way to Weston Mountain on New Year’s Eve for a great time.
Music on the Mountain starts at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 and ends with fireworks at Tollgate Crossing, 62393 Highway 204 (Weston-Elgin Highway).
The event is open to all ages and hosted by Tollgate Crossing and 5052 Mountain Eatery. Gates open at 4 p.m., dinner is from 5-7 p.m., and the live music starts at 6 p.m.
Taking the stage will be The Piedmont Boys, Casey Chesnutt, Dog Bite Harris and Cory Peterson.
The Piedmont Boys started out in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2007. They’ve played thousands of shows, logged thousands of miles, released four albums, toured half the continental U.S., and even played rodeos from Oregon to Texas.
Casey Chesnutt is the son of Mark Chesnutt and has made a name for himself after his first album had a single that hit the top 10 on the Texas radio charts. Soon after, he signed a recording deal and was selected to sing at a Randy Travis tribute show. He has opened for Mark Chesnutt, of course, and recently opened for Clint Black. Casey sounds a lot like his dad but has a lot of his own music.
“Corey Peterson is a local legend and amazing musician who just dropped a new single and we may get to see a new album soon,” according to the Tollgate Crossing owners.
Dog Bite Harris is another local legend, who has one of the most unique voices, and can sing with the best around.
Event tickets are $75, or $125 for dinner and the event. Space is limited — call 541-429-1277 to make sure tickets are still available.
Tickets can be purchased in the Tollgate Crossing Store, or online at tinyurl.com/yc4bprwb. For updates, and a link to tickets, check Tollgate Crossing Store on Facebook.
