History
After many trips to Belgium and meeting other brewers, the Gregorys knew they wanted to make Belgian-style beers. Set on a 10-acre farm among orchards, vineyards and fields of wheat, Dragon’s Gate Brewery brews farmhouse and Belgian-style ales.
“We wanted an atmosphere where people can feel at home, take their shoes off, and walk through the grass,” they said.
Another interesting feature for brewery customers is Oberon, Dragon’s Gate Friesian Stallion, imported from the Netherlands. Standing 16.1 hands, Oberon advanced to the second viewing at the stallion show in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.
Regular brewery hours are Fridays from 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 1-7 p.m. Dragon’s Gate events include the Renaissance Faire, the Harry Potter Celebration, Headless Red Wine, high school class reunions, weddings and celebrations of life.
