Pendleton Leather Show returns Nov. 4-5

- The Pendleton Leather Show is happening Nov. 4-5 at the Convention Center.
PENDLETON — The Pendleton Leather Show is a yearly event that gathers leather artisans and enthusiasts from all over the United States to teach about the craft, sell their fine goods and compete in the Northwest Leather Masters Competition.

This year’s show will be held at the Pendleton Convention Center, 1601 Westgate, on Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The show is comprised of a trade show, classes for adults and children, and the competition.
Classes available for registration include befriend the bell knife skiver, kids learning leather, success principles for entrepreneurs, and much more. Class schedules and registration forms can be found at www.pendletonleathershow.com/2022-classes-contests.
Whether it’s to watch or compete, the Northwest Leather Master’s Competition has a variety of categories. These include open handbag, novice chap, open roughout saddle and more. To submit an entry in the competition, registration and a $75 to $150 registration fee is required.

The leather show is also a way for artisans to exhibit their work at their own booth. The show is still accepting applications for exhibitor booths. Registration and a fee of $475 is required. The application can be found at www.pendletonleathershow.com/exhibitorinformation.
